The skim milk powder is manufactured to the specific requirements of the Infant Formula sector.

A number of key parameters are carefully controlled to ensure the consistency required in terms of physical, chemical and microbial attributes are adhered too. Skim for this important sector differs to standard ADPI skim powders in a number of parameters.

Skimmed Milk Powder:

Skimmed milk is carefully selected and extracted from fresh whole milk.  This involves the dedicated monitoring of milk assembly at farm level through our quality management programmes and farmer commitment to providing consistent high quality fresh milk. Skim milk powder is then manufactured to the specific and rigorous requirements of our customers.

To make skim milk powder,  milk is carefully pasteurised, separated, evaporated and spray dried in advanced facilities to produce a fine, free flowing milk powder with a natural cream colouring.  This colour derives from the natural grass based diet of our dairy cows.  The skim milk powder has the following characteristics:
